Approach

Holly picked up a camera at fourteen and has been photographing people ever since. The studio has been running since 2015, and the work has been featured in magazines and online publications along the way.

The approach is calm and intentional rather than staged. Most couples say they are bad in front of a camera, so there is step-by-step direction, plenty of laughing, and enough time for people to forget they are being photographed. What comes back is romantic, joyful and made to still look right in thirty years.

Pretty pictures are only pretty. What matters more is the story underneath them: the friends holding a bride up, the father who is somewhere else entirely during the dance, the two people who will never have this exact day again. That is the part worth keeping.

Home is Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a husband and a daughter who come first. Everything else is travel — the Carolina Lowcountry, Savannah, Texas, Colorado, the California coast, and further out to France, Guatemala, the Philippines and across Africa.
